Islamabad: The Capital Police on Thursday decided to make its employee e-health facility completely operational by the end of this year after talking with a Malaysian team from the Cetera Foundation about it.

IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan met with a delegation from the Cetera Foundation, a Malaysian organisation that supports the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Islamabad Capital Police decided to begin developing the e-health system right away at the debate.Islamabad Capital Police and the Cetera Foundation resolved to start forming the e-health system right away at the meeting.

The Central Police Office, DIG Operations office, and SSG line would all have mobile booths set up in the initial phase. By December 31, 2022, the whole Islamabad police force will have access to this technology.

Senior doctors will be available online at these booths and paramedical staff will be on duty at the booths all over. Following their visit to the booths, police officers can purchase medications, and the police department will cover the cost of any consultations.

Additionally, mobile mobile units would be set up, and doctors would visit police officers' homes in response to any emergency calls. The Islamabad Capital Police's current ambulances are being connected to this technology, which will have online telemedicine doctors to give services for police officers doing special duties at events, gatherings, or other law-and-order circumstances.

The Islamabad Capital Police and Cetera Foundation will sign a memorandum of understanding to put this programme into place right away and effectively on an ongoing basis. IGP Islamabad stated that because of their arduous jobs and advanced age, force members are at danger for conditions including heart attacks, high blood pressure, and mental stress. This system would help to improve their health care and reduce these risks.
